Verizon Lines: Network Facts for Developers
A Verizon line from Mobile Proxies US exits on an address owned by Verizon Wireless, autonomous system AS22394 (AS6167 also appears for Verizon in some lookups), from a SIM in a device we run in one of eight US metros. GET /proxies/my shows it as a licence with carrier Verizon, a city, a network tier, a host and ports, a login and a rotation link. This page covers identification, sharing, Verizon's regional geolocation, rotation behaviour, protocols, speeds and prices, written for people wiring the line into code.
Identification
ASN lookups on the exit IP return Verizon Wireless, usually AS22394, sometimes AS6167, country US, connection type mobile. The exit is IPv4. Tests should accept either ASN for Verizon and assert the connection type. Reputation services label the address mobile and sometimes proxy; the latter reflects the range, not your line.
Shared addresses
Verizon uses carrier-grade NAT; each public address fronts many subscribers. Reputation and fraud scores are crowd aggregates. Destinations treat the address as a consumer mobile address and are reluctant to block it. Your SIM and device are exclusively yours; the public address is shared one layer up. Nothing about this differs materially from AT&T or T-Mobile; the difference between the carriers lies in geolocation, below.
Geolocation: regional hubs
Verizon organises its packet gateways around regional hubs. The public address of a Verizon line can therefore be listed by geolocation databases under a hub city some hundreds of miles from the device while remaining in the same region; the state is right in the large majority of cases and the country always. A Houston Verizon line may read Dallas; a Phoenix one may read another Southwest hub. Boston is the clear case: Verizon lines in Boston read as Boston, while AT&T lines in Boston read as New York. Assert country and state, treat the city as a logged value, and pick T-Mobile when the city string must match the metro.
Rotation semantics on Verizon
A rotate request re-attaches the modem and Verizon assigns a new address from the regional pool behind the hub. Completion is a few seconds to about half a minute. Because the pool is regional, successive addresses can geolocate to different cities in the region while the device never moves; this is expected. Addresses are sticky when left alone as long as Verizon's network keeps the session. There is no limit on how many rotations you make; min_time_change_ip gives the wait the rotation link holds a line to, and phone lines have their own cooldown of 1 to 2 minutes.
Endpoints and protocols
HTTP(S) endpoint, SOCKS5 endpoint with UDP, username and password, VLESS link. One exit IP across both proxy ports. socks5h for remote DNS. For Chromium automation use the HTTP endpoint with launch-time credentials or a local xray SOCKS port from the VLESS link. GET /proxy/status?license=UUID returns the exit IP; confirm a new address from the outside with an echo request through the line.
Metros, devices and speed
Verizon lines are available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, Boston and North Carolina. Device at checkout: 4G or 5G USB modem, cellular router or Android phone. 4G up to 25 Mbps download, 5G up to 50 Mbps; both move with cell load. 5G+ on 5G lines: an average of 70 Mbps or more download on selected lines, not guaranteed. Moves between metros are free and keep the remaining time; the host and ports can change, so re-read GET /proxies/my after a move.
When Verizon is the right carrier
Reproducing a report from a Verizon user. Tests that need AS22394 or AS6167. Jobs where state-level location is what matters and a hub-city reading is acceptable. Boston lines where the city must read Boston. Avoid Verizon when the city string must match the metro elsewhere; use T-Mobile for that.
Prices and access
4G: $5 a day, $29 a week, $66 a month. 5G: $6 a day, $33 a week, $77 a month. Hourly: 4G $2 for the first two hours then $2 an hour, 5G $3 then $3 an hour, four hours maximum, never auto-renewing; hours count toward a day plan if the line is kept the whole day. Card, PayPal, Bitcoin, USDT including TRC-20, Ethereum, Zelle, bank wire. Live on payment and present in the dashboard and GET /proxies/my immediately.
Verizon proxy questions
My Verizon line's city is wrong. Is the line in the wrong metro?
Almost never. Verizon addresses are listed under regional hubs. The device is where the API says; the state reads correctly. Use T-Mobile when the city must match.
Which ASN should my test accept for Verizon?
AS22394 primarily; AS6167 also appears for Verizon Wireless. Accept both and assert connection type mobile.
Does a Boston Verizon line read as Boston?
Yes. It is the AT&T line in Boston that reads as New York, because of AT&T's gateway layout.
Can rotation move the address to another state?
Within the same region the city can change; the state stays correct in the large majority of cases. If a job needs the state exactly and a rotation misreads, rotate again or switch carrier.
